The YAML Toolbox is a MATLAB based toolbox for reading and writing YAML text files. This toolbox is essentially just a copy of the code found on
There are two ways to install and setup the toolbox
Using Version Control
This is a Git repository, so choose your version control software accordingly.
- Clone the repository
- Add the directory containing the '+yaml' folder to the MATLAB path.
Using a MATLAB Installer
If you don't plan on doing any development with the toolbox or just want to have an easy to setup deliverable for the end user
- Download the installer.
- Locate the file and double-click on it to launch the installer. MATLAB will likely open up if it isn't already.
- The toolbox is now installed and on the path. Use MATLAB's add-on manager to remove the toolbox or look at toolbox metadata.
